State Bank of India ( SBI) issued a notification for the recruitment of 2000 Probationary Officer (PO) vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply online by using the official website www.sbi.co.in before or on 02-05-2015. Other like age limit, educational qualification, how to apply ate given below.

1. SC ; 308 Posts.
2. OBC ;541 Posts.
3. ST ; 339 Posts.
4.  Gen ; 812 Posts.

Age Limit; Candidates age should be between 21 to 30 years as on 01-04-2015. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification; Candidates should possess Graduation in any discipline from a recognized as such by the Central Government.Those who are in the final year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation Examination on or before 01-09-2015.

Selection Process; Candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary exam, interview and group discussion.

Application Fee; Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- for SC / ST/ PWD candidates, Rs. 600/- for General and other candidates. Fee can be paid through online mode only.

1. Candidates should first scan their photograph and signature as detailed under guidelines for scanning the photograph and signature.
2. Candidates to visit bank`s website www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in and open the appropriate online application format, available in the ` Career with us` link.
3. Fill the Application carefully, once the application is filled completely, candidates should submit the data.
4. On successful completion of the application, e- receipt and application form will be generated; which may be printed for record. The printout of application form is not to be sent to the bank.
